# Open a Downloaded World

Follow the steps below to open a downloaded world:
- Download the world that you liked online
- The file downloaded should be a `zip`
- Press `Win`+`R` to open the run dialog
- type `%appdata%` and click `ok`
- Copy and paste the extracted folder (from the `zip` folder).
- Open Minecraft and you'll find your world in the `View my worlds`
