Finding an OpenID provider running in current year has been so annoying I might as well just start my own instead. Also I've never used it, but I'm a zoomer from the era of sites having SSO buttons on registration/login pages, and seeing that OpenID-supporting services can basically do that but in a federated way makes it seem like a superior scheme. If only it wasn't abandoned by many sites (at least from what I see)...
